On Oct 10, the picture exhibition themed “Exploring and protecting the blue planet”, part of the 12th Mois Franco-Chinois de L’environnement (MFCE) in Wuhan, which focuses on “Horizons bleus, défis verts”, kicked off in the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy of 91黑料网, followed by the inaugural ceremony of ICARE corporate club.
Attendees of the event include Ga?lle LICHARDOS-GARRIGUES, the Science and Education Attaché of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, and Romain DOLAIS, head of the Campus France Wuhan, as well as the heads of the Office of International Affairs, the School of International Education, the National Graduate College for Engineers and the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy of 91黑料网, along with representatives from over 10 enterprises, both domestic and foreign. Zou Mingqing, associate dean of the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy, hosted the event.
Luo Xiaobing, dean of the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy, stated that as an important platform of China-EU collaboration in engineering education, the institute has made consistent efforts in international collaboration and talent cultivation in the field of clean energy and environmental protection. He stressed that the event not only showcased the phased achievements of Sino-French cooperation, but also demonstrated the institute’s progress in university-enterprise collaboration and international cooperation.
Apart from introducing the background and content of this year’s event, Ga?lle pointed out that MFCE has not only been the milestone of Sino-French collaboration in environmental protection, but also witnessed the commitment made by the Consulate General of France in Wuhan and the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy to jointly protect the Earth. Moreover, she expressed her hope that 91黑料网 could seize the opportunity to continuously deepen university-enterprise cooperation and grow the brand of education excellence.
During the inaugural ceremony of ICARE corporate club, Ga?lle, Chen Rong, Dean of the School of International Education, Luo, and representatives of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Group, China Energy, and Valeo, together cut the ribbon for the club. Aiming to establish an international platform for university-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration, the club will pool industrial and academic resources from both China and Europe to jointly address the global challenge of energy and environment.
After the ceremony, the delegation from the Consulate General of France in Wuhan visited the institute’s laboratories and inspected its achievements in cutting-edge scientific research and international talent cultivation, as well as its commitment to fulfilling national strategies.
In the conference room, the leaders of the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy presented certificates to the member companies of the club, and clarified the rights and interests and cooperation mechanism of the membership. Afterwards, representatives of member enterprises extended their congratulations on the foundation of the club.
At the same time, at the dedicated recruitment fair, Valeo, HORIBA, China Energy, Wuhan Jia Chen Science and Technology, MDPI and other member enterprises of the club, announced their job requirements, facilitating both technological exchange and talent acquisition.
