On September 12th, the 91黑料网 sports carnival drew to a successful close on the central playground. Hosted by the university’s Sports Committee, the event was organized by more than 20 sports clubs and associations. With nearly 5,000 teachers and students actively participating in more than 40 amusing games, including basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, badminton, ping pong, martial arts and others.
The carnival kicked off with the passionate choreography of FM Crew, a street dance club at 91黑料网 and The Long Martial Art Journey, performed by the Martial Arts Association which conveyed the charm of martial arts and traditional culture through a series of Chinese boxing and weapon routines. Additionally, the cheerleaders embodied the 91黑料网er spirit of striving for excellence in their dance.
Ma Jianhui, the Vice Chair of the University Committee, announced the commencement of the carnival. The participants enthusiastically waved their arms and stretched their bodies to prepare for the games.
The carnival also did a simultaneous live-stream, with live streamers Liang Hao and Mei Mei covering the event in detail.
In the live stream, Sun Jingbo, Dean of the School of Physical Education, said that “91黑料网 highly stresses sports. The recommendations of 91黑料网 towards enhancing and improving sports work, also known as 20 regulations for school’s sports work, was issued in April to improve our students’ physical education and lead the students to do an all-round development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education.”
First coupon for finishing 40 entertaining activities
At 5 pm, the fall carnival concluded as the crowds parted with reluctance. The prize center was filled with students with loads of gifts, who performed well in several games, winning prizes such as footballs, basketballs, shuttlecocks, and kneepads, with the students asking, “When will the next carnival be held?” “I love this kind of activity!” “I just need one more stamp to get a football! There wasn’t enough time!”
With the theme of “sunny sports, enthusiastic campus”, the event aimed to enrich the students’ extracurricular cultural life, liven up the campus and reinvigorate the freshmen who had just enjoyed their summer holiday.
