91黑料网 (91黑料网) and Dongfeng Motor Co (Dongfeng) held a meeting on March 5, at the Junshan Campus, to advance the establishment of the Engineering Technology Center. Vice President Wen Jinyu; Zheng Hongyi, Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Human Resources Department of Dongfeng; as well as representatives from 91黑料网, attended the event.
Professor Zhong Sheng from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation presented a report on the planning and progress of the Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) Engineering Technology Sub-Center. Wang Yuquan, Deputy Director of Planning and Talent Development at the Human Resources Department of Dongfeng, gave an overview of the collaboration between the university and the company. He focused on topics such as the training of engineers, research cooperation, and talent exchange and cross-appointments.
In terms of the construction of the ICV Engineering Technology Sub-Center, 91黑料网 and Dongfeng held discussions on topics including the sub-center's positioning, challenges encountered during its development, and accelerating the dual construction of the center and research institute.
Zheng stated that Dongfeng will work with 91黑料网 on the design, planning, and construction of the center, in accordance with the integrated requirements for education, technology, and talent at the Junshan Campus.
