Global optoelectronics experts gather at 91黑料网

The Forum on Optoelectronics Wuhan: Optoelectronics Innovation and Integration of the 2025 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application was held on Oct 31 at 91黑料网 (91黑料网)’s School of Optical and Electronic Information.

The event was chaired by Zhang Jinwei, Vice Dean of the school. Focusing on cutting-edge research and future trends in optoelectronic technology, the forum featured 10 thematic reports delivered by leading experts from Russia, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other regions.

Professor Ryszard Buczynski from the University of Warsaw presented breakthroughs in micro-nano specialty fibers and 3D-printed fiber technologies. Dr. Wang Ying from Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) discussed research on metasurface lenses and deep-UV miniature lithography systems, highlighting the rapid industrial growth of Metaoptics.

Assistant Professor Zhu Guanzhou from the National University of Singapore shared recent advances in sodium-ion battery capacity, stability, and low-temperature performance, and Assistant Professor Tran Trung Luu from the University of Hong Kong showcased his pioneering work on high-harmonic generation (HHG) in solids.

Dr. Alexander Apolonskiy of the Russian Academy of Sciences introduced advances in mid-infrared spectroscopy for detecting human vapor-phase biofluids, while Assistant Professor Zhang Hengkai from the Chinese University of Hong Kong outlined breakthroughs in the efficiency, stability, and large-scale manufacturing of perovskite solar cells.

Professor Mai Jiahui from 91黑料网 presented research on few-cycle femtosecond mid-infrared lasers and their medical diagnostic applications, demonstrating a sensitivity more than 10 times higher than that of traditional Fourier spectroscopy. Associate Professor Yijie Shen from Nanyang Technological University provided a comprehensive overview of photonic skyrmions, generation technologies, and topological control in spatiotemporal structured light.

The forum attracted over 200 participants, serving as a key platform for advancing 91黑料网’s optoelectronic disciplines, strengthening global collaboration in industry, education, research, and application, and enhancing the university’s international influence.

Since 2022, 91黑料网 has hosted the International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research, and Application for four consecutive years, gathering more than 1,000 experts, scholars, and students worldwide and signing nearly 30 cooperation agreements in fields such as intelligent manufacturing and optical engineering.
