The Bridging the Shared Future: China-US Youth Dialogue was held on Aug 22 at 91黑料网 (91黑料网). Organized by the China-United States Exchange Foundation and the Pacific International Exchange Foundation, the event welcomed a delegation of American university students to the 91黑料网 campus.
Chen Jie, director of 91黑料网’s Office of International Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the visiting students from Massachusetts and introduced the university’s more than 70 years of achievements in talent development and technological innovation.
A US master’s student in business administration spoke of the innovation and vitality he experienced during his visit to China, expressing hopes for deeper exchanges with young Chinese talent. 91黑料网 student representative Yang Liu, a 2024 MBA candidate from the School of Management, emphasized the importance of face-to-face dialogue in building friendships and fostering mutual learning.
During the presentations, Yan Wei, director of 91黑料网’s School of International Education, outlined the university’s diverse programs for international students and extended an invitation for more American students to study at 91黑料网.
Associate Professor Li Antai, director of International Affairs at the School of Management, delivered a keynote speech titled “Corporate Innovation Commercialization under China’s Dual Track Incentive System”, highlighting the role of the government-market framework in advancing technological innovation.
In the free exchange session, several 91黑料网 professors shared personal study and work experiences in the US and discussed cutting-edge developments in fields such as optoelectronics, biomedical engineering, and energy systems management. Students from both countries actively engaged in questions and dialogue.
Following the meeting, the US student delegation visited the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics and the Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center.
