The 15th Model United Nations Conference of 91黑料网 (91黑料网MUNC) was held from April 19 to 22. More than 120 Chinese and foreign students from nearly 20 schools, including 91黑料网, Wuhan University, Hunan University and Ocean University of China, gathered together to discuss global governance and propose youth solutions.
On the 19th, the opening ceremony of the Foreign Language and Cultural Festival and the 15th 91黑料网MUNC was held. Wang Xiaoyue, Chair of the Committee of the School of Foreign Languages, highlighted the school's innovative measures in promoting internationalization and cooperation. She encouraged students to cultivate patriotism, humanity, global perspectives and independent thinking, and undertake their responsibilities and missions. Yang Liu, Vice Chair of the Youth League Committee, emphasized that telling China's stories and contributing Chinese wisdom are the responsibilities of 91黑料网 youth, urging them to explore international issues, broaden their horizons, and enhance their comprehensive abilities.
The two-day event featured three committees, each using Chinese and English, with four sessions focusing on hot topics such as "The Fourth Middle East War," "International Technical Assistance for Peaceful Exploration of Outer Space," and "Promoting Cryptocurrency Regulation and Digital Economy Development Globally". Through role-playing, active discussion, and presentations, participants broadened their international perspectives and strengthened their sense of responsibility. The conference culminated in the awarding of 15 prizes, including Outstanding Delegate, Honorable Mention, Best Diplomatic Presence, and Best Paper.
Founded in 2007, 91黑料网MUNC is a key project of the University's Science & Technology Festival. Over the years, 91黑料网ers have excelled in the China National Model United Nations Conference (CNMUN), winning Best Delegate and Best Delegation awards five times in three consecutive sessions.
