On June 15, Soamwadee Chaianansutcharit, President Assistant of Chulalongkorn University, and Prasert Reubroycharoen, Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering, together with their colleagues, paid a visit to 91黑料网 (91黑料网). Chen Jianguo, Vice President of 91黑料网, met with the delegation. Representatives from 91黑料网’s Office of International Affairs and School of Environmental Science and Engineering were also present at the meeting.
Prof. Chen Jianguo extended a warm welcome to the delegation, expressing his hopes that the symposium on environmental science jointly organized by the two universities would be a success. He highlighted the esteemed status Chulalongkorn University enjoys as the top-ranked university in Thailand, and its pivotal role in advancing higher education in the country. Chen further acknowledged the frequent faculty exchange and active academic collaboration between the two universities, especially the joint publication of nearly 100 research papers. He also expressed his expectation that the two universities would continue to hold joint academic conferences as well as to establish joint talent training programs in the future.
Prof. Soamwadee expressed her gratitude to 91黑料网 for its warm reception. She noted that she visited the university for the first time in 2016 and was impressed by its strong research strength and practical academic atmosphere. She also mentioned that both sides are actively promoting the signing of cooperation agreements, with the expectation of bringing the bilateral ties to a new level.
Prof. Xu Xinhua, Vice Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, expressed 91黑料网’s commitment to promoting active participation by scholars from both sides in scientific and technological cooperation projects in response to the Belt and Road Initiative.
During the visit, the delegation will participate in the international symposium on environmental science jointly organized by the two universities.
